Buying an exam

Step 1 — Three quick things to check first

These take a moment to sort out now, and are far more frustrating to hit at the checkout:

Step 2 — Find the right exam

14 exams. Read the full name, including anything in brackets.

We currently offer 14 exams: four FE, eight PE and two EX. Which one suits you depends on the activity your licence is registered under.

FE comes first, always

The FE exam is required, and it's a prerequisite for every later stage. You won't be benefit from a PE exam before passing FE, regardless of the years of experience you have.

The 90 days cannot be extended

This applies regardless of the reason. If your window runs out before you sit the exam, you'd need to buy a new attempt at AED 1,575, and there's no refund for an expired window — so it's best to sit comfortably within your 90 days.

A good idea for your first week

Getting your exam-day setup sorted now — while you still have 90 days rather than 9 — makes a real difference. It's the most common reason an exam won't open on the day, and it's easy to fix well in advance. See Exam day and SMOWL.

Step 3 — Review the course information

Before adding the course to cart, we highly recommend reviewing the course deliverables section to understand what knowledge you will be able to attain from the course. We also provide a free trial version of the course within the course page itself.

Step 4 — Check your cart

Step 6 — your cart — After paying, head to **My Learning Space**. Courses are **self-paced and never expire**, so there's no deadline to worry about.

Refunds and transfers

Unfortunately, nothing we sell can be refunded — this applies to exams, courses and bundles alike. For exams, that covers first attempts, retakes, attempts you never started, attempts you didn't finish, and attempts you didn't pass.
